State Police help look for suspects after Chesapeake pursuit

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Virginia State Police and other law enforcement agencies are looking for suspects after a police chase in Chesapeake around 7:44 a.m. Tuesday.

According to officials, a State Trooper advised that he was pursuing a vehicle on I-64 E at Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake. The vehicle exited at Greenbrier Parkway and both the driver and passenger got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.

Officials say the 2016 Honda Accord that the two suspects were driving was stolen out of Virginia Beach. Officers with the Chesapeake Police Department responded to the scene to help State Police find the suspects.
