PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Police have reported that a child has been shot in the 80 block of Lexington Drive in Portsmouth.
A call informing officials of the shooting came in around 12:14 p.m.
The young boy is currently in the intensive care unit at Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters.
There is no information about the circumstances of the shooting, a suspect or if any charges have been filed.
