2 Norfolk Naval Shipyard employees safe after being trapped on crane

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – No injuries were reported after two Norfolk Naval Shipyard employees were trapped on a crane Saturday afternoon.

The call came in at 2:30 p.m. According to shipyard officials, there was a small leak in a JLG crane’s hydraulic line, which caused the employees to become trapped.

Both employees are now safely on the ground. No injuries were reported.
