Norfolk firefighters respond to early morning house fire

NORFOLK, Va. — Firefighters in Norfolk have responded to a fire in the 3400 Block of Tidewater Drive.

According to officials the call of a fire came into dispatch around 5 a.m. and two people were at home at the time of the fire and are now displaced also because of it. The Red Cross is helping them.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshall’s Office.
