Two adults and 13-year-old charged in Norfolk stabbing that seriously injured victim

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police are investigating a stabbing that happened Sunday morning in the 9500 block of 5th Bay Street.

According to officials, the incident occurred around 10:15 a.m.

When first responders arrived, they found a 32-year-old man outside with several stab wounds.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment, and his injuries are considered life-threatening.

On Monday police charged two men and a 13-year-old in connection to the incident.

Andre Norman, 36 and the teen boy were charged with aggravated malicious wounding and 43-year-old Kevin Sykes was charged with accessory after the fact.

Detectives are still investigating.

Norman and Sykes are being held in the Norfolk City Jail and the juvenile, whose name is withheld, is currently being held in the Norfolk Juvenile Detention Center.
