Plane departing Norfolk International grounded after nose gear problems

NORFOLK, Va. – An American aircraft bound for Philadelphia was forced to circle back and land after a problem with its nose gear Saturday morning.

According to Norfolk International Airport, the incident happened at 6:24 a.m.

The CRJ-700 aircraft took off, then landed back at Norfolk and was towed back to the gate. All four crew members and 66 passengers were deplaned, and no injuries were reported.
