SMITHFIELD, Va. – The Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle crash into a building Thursday.
The crash happened at 1508 S. Church Street. When crews arrived, they found a single vehicle partially inside the structure, with two occupants still inside.
The two occupants were removed and transferred to Medic 61 for assessment. The vehicle was then removed, and firefighters helped shore up the building.
