Animal causes hundreds to lose power in Portsmouth

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – A raccoon caused hundreds of residents to lose power in Portsmouth Wednesday morning, according to Dominion Energy. 

The outages were between the Churchland and Westwood neighborhoods of the city.

Dominion Energy was able to restore power to residents around 5 a.m.
