NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Newport News Police officers arrested a driver after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of a firearm and narcotics.
Officers stopped the driver in the area of Manor Road and Warwick Boulevard. During the traffic stop, they found suspected marijuana and cocaine, which were both seized along with U.S. currency and one firearm.
The driver was charged with narcotics and weapons violations, as well as driving with a suspended license.
