Norfolk Police hand out Thanksgiving baskets in the community

NORFOLK Va. – Friday morning, employee’s from the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office handed out Thanksgiving baskets to members of the community.

For the annual event, volunteers loaded their cars with 100 turkeys and baskets full of food.

They also brought donations to citizens, non-profits, and churches in the area.

The Community Affairs department partnered with the public to plan and organize donations for the baskets.
