Planning a Halloween party? Here are some ideas

NORFOLK Va. – Even if you do plan on dressing like a mummy this year, that doesn’t mean your Halloween party has to be stuffy.

The party planning experts at Jollity & Co. have tips and tricks to make sure you holiday party is battier than all the rest.

From specialty napkins that read “here for the boos” or “if you have it, haunt it” to specialized black cat plates there is something for everyone planning on throwing the ultimate Halloween event.

Jollity recommends using non traditional colors to add a fresh look to your party. Owner Kristin Lindsey says pink is a very popular color to incorporate in the Halloween festivities this year.

She recommends adding in DIY projects like pink paper pumpkins, with black and white striped napkins. Kristin Lindsey says rose gold and copper are popular home decor colors right now, and can easily be added to your Halloween bash.

When it comes to DIY she recommends both decor and treats to eat. She suggests having the kids help with blood splattered place mats.

Use marshmallows, a pop sickle stick and edible marker to make a ghost treat.
