NORFOLK, Va. – Detectives are investigating a shooting that left one man injured inside the Broadway Restaurant and Lounge early Sunday morning.
Shortly after 1:15 a.m., police and fire-rescue responded to the Broadway Restaurant and Lounge located at 5671 East Virginia Beach Boulevard for a report of a gunshot disturbance. When they arrived, they located a 21-year-old Chesapeake man inside the club suffering from a gunshot wound.
The man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment. His injuries appear to be serious, but he is currently stable.
