DARE Co., Va. – The Wright Brothers National Memorial is offering free admission Saturday in celebration of National Public Lands Day.
The memorial, located in Kill Devil Hills, features reconstructed camp buildings, a large monument and the spot where the Wright brothers first took flight in 1903.
While the memorial usually charges a small fee for access to the park, that fee will be waived from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
