Richmond craft brewery announces new brewpub coming to Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. – A Richmond craft brewery is coming to Norfolk!

The Veil Brewing Co., announced the expansion Monday in a Facebook post.

The company said they hope to open their modern brewpub in the up and coming Railroad District in Fall, 2019. They added that this pends on cooperation from the City of Norfolk.

Where’s the brewpub going to be? Veil said their new space will be at the former Norfolk Chop House on Colonial Ave.

The new location will have three stories with a bar on each story. The third story will be a rooftop deck!

There will be a weekly Wednesday can release at the Norfolk so that you can grab some cans to try.

The team is steadily working in there this week with electrical, windows, stairs, floors, paint and the bars of course 😅⠀ ⠀ We will be updating you more often as the months go on, trust me we are just excited as you are! Our projected date is now the Fall. Our NFK location will have three stories with a bar on each story. Our third story will be a rooftop deck. ☀️ While we will still be having our weekly Tuesday can release in Richmond, we will also be doing a weekly Wednesday can release in NFK so you can grab some cans at both locations! 🙌 We will also be serving cider, guest taps, and wine.
