PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Police in Portsmouth are investigating a shooting that happened around 2 a.m. in the city.
According to the Portsmouth Police Department, the shooting investigation is in the 500 block of Edwards Street. Police responded to that area after a man walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound.
The man’s injuries are non-life threatening, said police.
No further information has been provided by officials about this shooting.
