HAMPTON ROADS, Va. — A dolphin washed ashore at the Ocean View Beach Park on Saturday. 
Matthew Klepeisz, public information officer at the Virginia Aquarium, said a team from the Aquarium responded to the dead dolphin around 4 p.m.
Klepeisz added that the team brought the dolphin back to the Aquarium’s Stranding Response Center for a necropsy.
No further information was provided by the Virginia Aquarium.
