CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Police in Chesapeake are investigating a shooting that happened Monday around 6 p.m.
Chesapeake Police responded to the intersection on Military Hwy. and Campostella Road for a report of an adult female with a gunshot wound.
After an initial investigation police said she was leaving a residence in the 2000 block of Reid St.
As she was leaving a shooting happened between unknown subjects. She apparently was caught up in the crossfire and sustained severe, but non life threatening injuries.
There is no suspect information at this time as police investigate.
