SUFFOLK, Va. – Firefighters in Suffolk responded to a gas leak in the city Saturday afternoon.
Officials say that the leak is in the 200 block of Highland Avenue and that a nick in the residential line was reported by contractors in the area who were working to replace existing gas lines.
The gas leak had closed a part of the Kingsboro neighborhood for about an hour while workers worked to stop the leak.
