PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a man critically injured in the 90 block of Merrimac Drive Tuesday night.
The call came in at 9:35 p.m.
Authorities say the victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
This incident comes shortly after a boy was shot in the hand in the 1100 block of Virginia Avenue of the city.
