Norfolk Police arrest woman in connection to ‘vehicular assault’ incident on Shoop Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. – Norfolk Police have arrested a woman in connection to an incident involving a “vehicular assault” on Shoop Avenue near Tidewater Drive Thursday.

Dispatchers tell News 3 calls reporting the incident were received at 1:24 p.m.

Police tweeted that non-life threatening injuries have been reported.

The woman is currently in custody, and charges are pending.

Shoop Avenue has reopened after previously having been closed to traffic during the investigation.
