NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Police Department and Norfolk Fire-Rescue have given the all clear after responding to a report of a suspicious package at a home in the 800 block of Maury Avenue Monday night.
The call came in shortly after 6 p.m.
Authorities said a family found a package on their porch and called officials because they had not ordered anything.
A bomb team X-rayed the package and determined that it contained food boxes.
