One critically injured in Norfolk double shooting

NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Police Department is investigating a double shooting that happened in the 1100 block of Mariner Street early Friday evening.

Dispatchers received the call shortly after 6 p.m.

Officers arrived at the scene to find two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both victims were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. One is in critical but stable condition, while the other is expected to be okay.
