NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - A 15-year-old boy has been charged with second-degree murder in the Tuesday night stabbing death of a man in the 500 block of Onancock Trail.
Police responded to the call around 7:41 p.m. and arrived at the scene to find a 37-year-old Newport News man suffering from stab wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 15-year-old was detained at the scene. Newport News Police announced Wednesday morning that he had been charged.
Police say the 15-year-old and victim were known to each other.
