House ‘significantly’ damaged by fire in Hampton

HAMPTON, Va. – Two homes were damaged from a fire that happened Friday afternoon, according to Hampton Fire officials.

Firefighter discovered three homes with electrical issues on Whitaker Avenue.

Crews pulled the electrical meters, but power still fed to the homes through the back feed.

One of the two homes was significantly damaged by the fire.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
