SOUTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va. – The Southampton County Sheriff’s Department is investigating Sunday evening after a threat was made to Southampton County High School on social media.

The Division Superintendent of Southampton County Public Schools, Gwendolyn Shannon, took to social media Sunday night to inform parents, teachers, students, and community members that Southampton County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the threat.
