Police investigate shooting on W. 29th Street in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. - Police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday.

Around 3:15 p.m., police responded to the 200 block of W. 29th Street for a gunshot disturbance.

Once first responders got there they found a 19-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Police said he currently listed in stable condition.

Witnesses told police that the man was riding his bicycle on W. 29th Street when they heard gunshots and saw the man had been shot.
