All clear given after bomb threat at Naval Station Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. – The all clear has been given after a bomb threat was reported on the USS Leyte Gulf (CG 55) at Naval Station Norfolk Wednesday night.

The call came in around 8:30 p.m. and immediate measures were taken.

Nothing suspicious was found after security sweeps were completed.

The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is investigating the incident.
