Man dies from injuries in Norfolk shooting, homicide investigation underway

NORFOLK, Va. – A man has died from his injuries following a shooting in the 3100 block of Oklahoma Avenue.

It happened at 3:15 a.m. on Saturday.

When officers arrived, they found 24-year-old Samad Brailsford outside of a home suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he later died.
