NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – A local family donated money to purchase a vest for Newport News Police K-9 Officer Halo.
The Deerfield family sponsored the vest as a way to honor their late father and to Spike’s K9 Fund.
“We are so grateful for your support and generosity and thankful K-9 Halo is protected!” NNPD K-9 Unit said on Facebook.
