Waterside District to show free screening of Disney’s ‘Moana’

NORFOLK, Va. – Waterside District is hosting two free family movie night screenings of Disney’s Moana in The Market.

The movie night was originally scheduled for June 20, but was moved due to weather conditions. Now there will be two movie nights on Tuesday, June 27 and Wednesday, June 28.

Doors will open at 5 p.m. with special entertainment, including Polynesian dancers, meeting the character Maui and having the chance to win a boogie board signed by Maui. The movie begins at 6 p.m.

Seating will be theater-style for kids. Adults can sit at any of the tables or bars at The Market.

Tickets are not required to attend the event. However, tickets were previously offered for children to get a free bag of popcorn. People who got popcorn tickets for the June 20 event will be able to use them next week. Popcorn will still be available for sale.
