USS James E. Williams to deploy from Naval Station Norfolk on Tuesday

The USS James E. Williams (U.S. Navy)

NORFOLK, Va. – The U.S. Navy’s Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS James E. Williams (DDG 95) is scheduled to leave Naval Station Norfolk on Tuesday, May 23 for a scheduled deployment to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operation.

Since 2015, the USS James E. Williams has undergone several maintenance periods and participated in various exercises.

This will be the ship’s first deployment to the 5th and 6th Fleet areas since 2014.
