Hampton courthouses cleared after bomb threat

HAMPTON, Va. – A bomb threat prompted evacuations at the Hampton courthouse buildings on Tuesday morning.

Hampton Police tweeted they were investigating the bomb threat in theĀ 200 block of North King Street around 10:30 a.m.

Traffic was blocked in the area for over an hour and people were evacuated from the buildings while authorities investigated the threats.

The scene was cleared around 11:45 a.m.
