Hampton fire officials retract statement that woman was struck by lightning

HAMPTON, Va. – Fire officials were investigating after a woman was reportidely struck by lightning on Tuesday.

Later Tuesday evening they said crews were working two possible lightning strikes and the information was coded incorrectly.

The report came from the 40 block of Riley Drive around 5 p.m.
