Betsy DeVos, Ivanka Trump attend STEM education event at National Air and Space Museum

WASHINGTON – U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos and Ivanka Trump visited the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum on Tuesday morning.

They spoke about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education, empowering young women to pursue STEM-related careers and introduced a viewing of the film Hidden Figures.

STEM students from schools in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia were in attendance.
