Virginia Beach student arrested after sending text threats against high school

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A student was arrested Friday after sending text threats against Landstown High School.

Police said the student was arrested for making threats of death or bodily harm by electronic means.

The student posted the threat Thursday night and was identified and taken into custody on Friday morning.

The school says disciplinary action will also be taken against the student.

There is no further information about the student’s arrest at this time.
