President Donald Trump spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington on Thursday morning.

President Trump’s plans to attend and speak at the event were announced Wednesday by White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.

The National Prayer Breakfast is an event that has been held annually since 1953. Every U.S. President since Dwight D. Eisenhower has participated.
