Norfolk Police investigate after man found shot in a vehicle

NORFOLK, Va. – Police are investigating after a man was found shot in a vehicle Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to the 2700 block of Westminister Ave. around 1:20 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a 26-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound inside a vehicle.

The victim was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment of what appears to be non life threatening injuries.
