Va. National Guard Soldiers help State Police check abandoned vehicles following snowstorm

ONANCOCK, Va. – Virginia National Guard Soldiers helped state police check abandoned vehicles Monday morning.

Troopers are still working to tow abandoned vehicles to make way for snow removal teams cleaning the roads.

Eighteen soldiers will remain on duty with high mobility vehicles to assist police. All other guard personnel were released Sunday afternoon.
