Virginia Beach man killed in ATV crash in Arizona

Peoria, AZ — A Virginia Beach man who was attending Arizona State University was killed in an ATV incident after colliding with a tree.

Authorities say the accident occurred Saturday afternoon just before 4:30 p.m.

Jonathan Fulton, 18, was traveling on a roadway when the ATV went off the road and struck a tree.

Fulton was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and suffered extensive head injuries. He died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Another ATV rider on a separate vehicle was riding with Fulton on the same road and immediately called police after the crash.

Fulton’s family has been notified about his death.

The incident remains under investigation by Peoria Police.
