Virginia Aquarium program helps early learners explore scientific concepts

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – The Virginia Aquarium is offering a program that will help early learners explore scientific concepts.

The S.T.E.A.M. program, short for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, is geared towards children ages 2 through 7.

On select Wednesdays, participants will create a piece of art that allows them to get a better understanding of scientific concepts.

The events are scheduled to take place at the aquarium’s Marsh Pavillion from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  •  December 14
  • December 28
  • January 11
  • January 25
  • February 8
  • February 22
  • March 8
  • March 22

Pre-registration and a program fee is required to participate. Registration fees are $5 for members and $7 for non members.
