Police investigating armed robbery at Portsmouth convenience store

PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Portsmouth Police continue to investigate an armed robbery that occurred November 6 at Diamonds Express at 3300 Victory Boulevard.

Police were called to the convenience store around 9 p.m. that night, just after the robbery happened.

Detectives say two men entered the store with their faces covered and displayed handguns. The men demanded money from the clerk. The clerk complied with their demands and the two suspects ran from the store.

No one was injured.

Police are now looking to identify the two suspects. Anyone with information about the incident or who may recognize the suspects is asked to call the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
