Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

A soggy start to the week… Most of our early morning showers have moved out but areas of drizzle and low clouds remain. Clouds will clear out by midday, with plenty of sunshine this afternoon. Highs will reach the mid 50s today, near normal for this time of year. Clouds will build back in overnight with lows in the mid 40s.

More rain will move in for Tuesday. Expect overcast skies and widespread showers for most of the day. Rain will build in tomorrow morning and will move out tomorrow evening. Most areas will see an additional 1”+ of rainfall tomorrow. Highs will return to the mid to upper 50s. It will be windy tomorrow with gusts near 25 mph.

Any leftover showers will move out very early Wednesday morning with clearing skies. Highs will return to the mid 50s and winds will begin to relax. We are watching a cold front for Thursday that could bring us a few showers but will bring in much colder air to end the week.
