Man accused of stealing master key to York County church

YORK COUNTY, Va. – The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man suspected of stealing the master key to a church.

The incident happened on November 27 around 11:30 a.m.

According to the sheriff’s office, an unknown man entered the preschool office at Yorkminster Presbyterian Church, located in the 6800 block of Route 17 and stole the key.

Because the key was stolen, the entire church had to be re-keyed.
