Man arrested for July homicide in Norfolk

40-year-old Terrence Booth and he has been charged with one count of Second Degree Murder and one count of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.

NORFOLK, Va. – A man has been arrested in connection with a homicide that happened in July.

The incident happened in the 3500 block of Granby Street.

When police arrived at the scene in the early morning hours of July 18 they found Addison Shearin suffering from a gunshot wound.

Shearin was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives have arrested 40-year-old Terrence Booth and he has been charged with one count of Second Degree Murder and one count of Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony.

Booth was arrested Wednesday without incident. He remains held without bond at the Norfolk City Jail.
