Tennesee man killed in accident on Virginia Beach interstate

Virginia Beach, Va – State Police say 22 year-old Alexander Timothy  Cody of Morristown, Tennessee was killed Monday night when he lost control of the car he was driving on I-264 westbound in Virginia Beach.

Cody was speeding in a 2013 Ford Mustang according to Virginia State Police. Police say Cody lost control when he took the Newtown Road exit and ran off the road into the woods. He was wearing his seatbelt but suffered life threatening injuries and died at the scene, police say.
