Tracking showers and possible thunderstorms….Our weather will be a bit unsettled over the next couple of days, with showers and storms in the forecast.

A rather complex and potent storm system will work its way across the country today through Thursday, which will increase our rain chances. So, as we move through our Tuesday, expect a few scattered showers here and there. We won’t see rain all day though. Just pack your rain gear just in case. Otherwise, we’ll see a good deal of clouds. This system will drive in gusty winds from the south. In fact, our winds will blow in from the south between 15 and 25 mph, with gusts to 30 mph, helping our high temperatures to climb into the low and mid 70s. Tonight, a few showers are possible. Low temperatures will be in the low 60s.

We’ll have another shot of rain and possibly some thunderstorms on Wednesday as a cold front moves in from the southwest. Right now, our threat for severe weather is fairly low, but we’ll keep an eye on it. Otherwise, we’ll see clouds and sun and gusty winds from the south. Highs will climb into the mid 70s. We push some record high temperatures by Wednesday as well. (The current record on Wednesday is 79 degrees set in 2001.)

A few early showers are possible early Thursday. Then, we’ll see clearing skies. Highs will be in the mid 60s. Temperatures will fall back into the 50s by Friday.

This Afternoon: Mostly Cloudy. Chance of Showers (30%). Windy. Highs in the lower 70s. Winds: S 15-25 mph, gusts to 30.

Tonight: Mostly Cloudy. Chance of Showers (30%). Breezy. Lows in the low 60s. Winds: S 10-20 mph, gusts to 25 mph.
