Suffolk Police investigating Sunday morning double shooting

SUFFOLK, Va. – The Suffolk Police Department is investigating after two men were shot in the 200 block of Central Avenue Sunday morning.

The call came in at 8:32 a.m.

When police arrived, they found the victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Medics took the men to a local hospital.

The victims have been identified as 28-year-old Timothy Gore of Franklin, and 55-year-old Charles Banks of Suffolk.

The first┬ávictim’s injuries are┬áconsidered serious. The second victim’s injuries are non-life threatening.
