Mo'Nique steals the show in "Almost Christmas", which is impressive because this is an all-star cast. The movie stars Danny Glover, Gabrielle Union, Omar Epps and many more. The ensemble cast represents members of a large family spending their first Christmas together after the matriarch of the family passes away.

What's great about "Almost Christmas" is that most of us can relate to it. You know there's going to be trouble when you get all of those relatives together under one roof. The best parts are when Mo'Nique's character tangles with Lonnie (J.B. Smoove is hilarious!), her inept, philandering distant relative.

As with any good Christmas story, you'll get a good cry in, too. But I won't spoil that for you. Jessica Larche and I give "Almost Christmas" 3 Blaines and 1 "Sweet Baby Jesus". It's a great film for the holiday season.
