Meteorologist Myles Henderson’s First Warning Forecast

Big warm up ahead… We are at the bottom of the hill today and getting ready to climb. Highs will only reach the low 60s this afternoon, near normal but a bit cooler than yesterday. Expect plenty of sunshine today and tomorrow. We will start our warm up Friday with highs climbing into the mid and upper 60s.

The warm up continues for Saturday with highs in the mid 70s. Expect sunshine for most of the day but clouds will build in for the late afternoon and evening as a cold front approaches. The front will not be a big rain maker for us but isolated showers are possible Saturday night into early Sunday morning. The front will bring a BIG cool down!

Much colder air will move in for Sunday and highs will only reach the low to mid 50s. Winds will also crank up as the front moves through and gusts to 35 mph are possible Sunday, making it feel even colder. Overnight lows will fall to near freezing by Monday morning with highs on Monday only in the low 50s.

Today: Mostly Sunny, Cooler. Highs in the low 60s. Winds: N 5-15

Tonight: A Few Clouds. Lows in the mid 40s. Winds: N 5-10

Tomorrow: Mostly Sunny, Warmer. Highs in the mid to upper 60s. Winds: N 5-10

However, environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for slow development during the next several days, and a tropical depression could form over the weekend or early next week while the low moves slowly and erratically.
