Western Branch 7-Eleven robbed at gunpoint

CHESAPEAKE, Va. – Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Wednesday at the 7-Eleven located in the 3200 block of Western Branch Boulevard.

The robbery happened shortly after 2 a.m. when a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a black scarf covering his face approached the store clerk with a long gun and demanded money.

The clerk put approximately $200 in a bag and handed it to the man.

The man then walked out of the store and police have been unable to locate him.
